REVEREND MARY ALICE SMITH-THOMPSON Reverend Mary Alice Smith-Thompson, 67, formally of Stuart, Fl. went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2007 in. Jacksonville, Fl. Reverend Thompson was a graduate of the class of 1959 from the Stuart Training School. She was employed with the Martin County School Board for over 15 years retiring as a Bus Driver. Reverend Thompson was a faithful member of the Cathedral of Praise C.O.G. in Jensen Beach, Fl before moving to Jacksonville, Fl. She leaves a legacy of love with her loving and devoted husband Deacon Alfred Thompson of Jacksonville, Fl; her son Acci (Pamela) Leverity of Fort Pierce, FL; a step-daughter Ms. Lena Thompson of Jacksonville, Fl; her mother Rana M. Smith of Stuart, Fl; grandchildren, Angel, DeMichael and Jeremiah Leverity, and TeQuesha Toney-Lawson of Fort Pierce, Fl. A great- granddaughter Nasya Lawson of Fort Pierce, Fl. Sisters Robbie (James) Harris, Jerry Lisbon and Jolene Mitchell all of Stuart, Fl. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, God- children and many, many dear friends. Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Love Temple Church of God By Faith located 607 Florida Street, Stuart, Fl. Elder Gary Lewis, Jr pastor, Bishop Larry Bender, officiating. Friends may call on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 6-8 pm. at the church listed above. Interment at the Fernhill Memorial Gardens.
