BANGOR - The Rev. Patricia Louisa Moore, 65, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, in the presence of family. She was at peace and ready to go home. Patricia was born March 30, 1945, in Haverhill, Mass., daughter of George Landery and Beatrice (Pingree) Moore. She received her education from several institutions, with her final degree being awarded by Bangor Theological Seminary. Patricia held many different jobs in her life, but through the years, her work as pastor to several small congregations around the state became her life's calling. At the time of her death, Patricia was serving Milford Congregational Church. She loved her church family there and felt blessed to have been their pastor. Patricia was predeceased by a beloved brother, Robert B. Moore. She is survived by another brother, Ron Moore and sister-in-law, Nancy, of Orrington; nieces, Rhonda Geaghan and husband, Larry, Dawna (Moore) Hensley and Kate Moore, all of Orrington; and nephews, Daniel G. Moore and wife, Eileen, of Orrington and Jonathan K. Moore and wife, Rachel, of Philadelphia. She is also survived by her very special sister-in-law, Betsy McDonnell and her husband, Bob, of Florida; and nieces, Regan McDonnell-Francesconi and Kate McDonnell. Patricia touched countless lives in her time here on earth and she will be remembered by many dear friends, especially her "adopted sister," Nancy Andrews of Lexington, Mass. A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Road, Orrington.
