MANCHESTER -- The Rev. Leo A. Shea, 82, of the Peterson Residence, died Oct. 9, 2008, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. He was born in Nashua, August 25, 1926, to John A. and Lillian (Larivee) Shea. He attended Sacred Heart Academy, the former Spring Street School in Nashua, Assumption Preparatory School, Nashua Business College, St. Philip Neri in Boston, St. Thomas in Bloomfield, Conn., St. Mary's in Baltimore, Md. and St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Md. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Catholic War Veterans No.1749, Knights of Columbus Council No. 122, American Legion James E. Coffee Post No. 3, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 483, Bishop Bradley Council and Catholic Order of Foresters. Family members include a sister, Sr. Mary Liliosa-Shea, CSC of Manchester; and several cousins. SERVICES: An hour of visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 until the Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis St., Nashua.
