BISSONNETTE, Rene WWII Veteran Joseph Rene Gregoire Bissonnette, born May 24, 1924, died peacefully at home on December 10, 2004. He will be remembered by all who knew him and especially his beloved wife of 50 years, Marcelle (Couillard), his children Laurent (Anne Wilson), Philippe, Nicole (Pierre D'Avignon), Celine (Quan Sim) and Stephane (Cyndi Charlebois) and his grandchildren Christopher, Christian, Julie, David, Andree and Lee Ong. Rene is survived by his siblings Annette, Eveline and Paul. He is predeceased by his siblings Albert, Armand, Aline and Marguerite. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans to share their memories of Rene with his family on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to be followed by a memorial service in the chapel.
