LaVOIE Reene S. Armino LaVoie, age 89, of Stratford, widow of Edgar LaVoie, died on Monday, May 23, 2005, after a long illness surrounded by her family at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport she was a Stratford resident for 45 years and was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosie Tirno Armino. Survivors include her devoted children, one son, Mark M. Agriesta of Stratford; three daughters, Patricia A. Cummings of Magnolia, Texas, Hilda L. Onuska of Stratford, and Dolores Stockmal and her husband, Frank, of Derby; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rosemary Taylor. Private services took place on Thursday, May 26, 2005 in the Dennis & DtArcy Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, with the Rev. Andrew Marus, pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Church, officiating. Burial was in St. Johnts Cemetery, Stratford.
