HUGHES, Rebecca Mary "Molly " (nee Orton) On Sunday, May, 20th, 2012. Born in Innisfail Alberta, July 9th, 1920. Eldest daughter of Reverend John Orton (Gladys). The family moved to High River and later to Duncan, BC. Molly was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing. Her first husband, Ralph Hanslow, died March 24th, 1958 and Molly went into public health nursing in Vancouver until her marriage to James Henry Hughes of Victoria on Janruary 16th, 1965. She raised their three sons and led a very active life, becoming a keen gardener and golfer. She is survived by very loving husband Jim; sons, Kevin Michael (Diane) of Victoria, Paul Bernard (Sandra) of Vancouver; sisters, Joan in Whitehorse, Ruth (Nigel) in Nakusp, and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.K. First Memorial will look after the cremation which will be followed by a service at 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria at 2:00 p.m. on June 1st, 2012. 656879
