->CHERRYFIELD - Rebecca Jeanne Kennedy Davis, 52, passed away Feb. 3, 2013. She had an incredible spirit that never faltered despite being ill for so long. Rebecca was born Aug. 27, 1960, in Harrington, to John and Virginia (Strout) Kennedy. She enjoyed summers at Montegail, four-wheeling with the crew, Fourth of July festivities with the Kennedy clan, walking along the Narraguagus River, meeting and talking with folks during her years as a waitress and of course the Red Sox and Patriots, as long as they were winning!Rebecca was predeceased by her parents, John and Virginia Kennedy; and father in-law, Elwood Davis. She is survived by her loving husband, Kirby Davis; mother-in-law, Edith Davis; brothers, Bucky Kennedy and wife, Saundra, and Jim Kennedy and wife, Roberta; sisters, Linda Farren and Glenda Grant; nieces and nephews, Adam Kennedy and wife, Karen, Amy Kennedy, Amanda LeBlanc and husband, Brian, Andrew Kennedy, Laurie Fraser, Janet Farren-Tibbetts, Mike Farren and wife, Cathy, Angel Alley and husband, Robert, Bruce Farren and fiancée, Angela, Cathy Grant, Kevin Grant, and Brian Grant and wife, April. Rebecca was "Lil BB" to her great-nieces and great-nephews, Karmen and Kirstin Kennedy, David and Darren Fraser, Taylor and Tyler Tibbetts, Jerrid and Josh Farren, Jamie Bartlett, Travis Alley, Hannah Alley, Paige Farren, Julie and Cynthia Grant, Erving Grant, Emma Fraser, Edie Fraser, Ella Fraser, Allison Fraser, Rianne Fraser, McKenzie Farren, Kade Bartlett and Kamryn Bartlett. She is also survived by aunts, Paula Farren, Carrie Strout, Doreen Strout, Jeanette Wright; and beloved cats, Monti, LuLu, Jessie and Jethro.Family will be receiving guests 10 a.m. until time of the memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge.
