Rebecca Hawkins Carter Rebecca Hawkins Carter, 97, died Saturday, June 24, 2006. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church on Call Street, with burial at St. Rosa Cemetery. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements. A native of Tallahassee, she was a member of St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.She was a member of the Fairest Among Thousands, Chapter No. 28, Order of the Eastern Star Lodge, P.H.A., and the Bright Rose Charity Lodge. Survivors include a son, Eddie Graham (and Carolyn) of Tallahassee; a sister, Charlotte Flowers of West Palm Beach; two grandchildren, Kenneth Graham (and Yolanda) and Erika Lamb (and Stanley), both of Tallahassee; five great-grandchildren, Deonna Graham, Danielle Graham, Gabrielle Graham, Zaire Lamb and India Lamb; a nephew, Thomas Mitchell (and Audrey) of Tallahassee; and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.
