Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Crestwood Chapel for Rebecca Cline Davis, 81, Gadsden, who died Monday, July 14, 2008. The Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.Mrs. Davis was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Davis; and, son, Kenny Holmes.Mrs. Davis is survived by her brother, Chester Cline; daughter, Vicki Neuman; grandson, Eric Neuman; her special dog, Yoda; cat, Poochie; and several nieces and nephews.Honorary pallbearers will be Chester E. Cline, Keith Cline, Eric Neuman, Johnny Varden, special friends Lillian Clayton, Margie Carson, Frances King Waldrop and Ernesta Conner.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Etowah County Humane Society.The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
