LACHANCE, Raymond - Est décédé à Sudbury le vendredi 17 aout 2007 à l'âge de 70 ans. Fils de feu Adélard et de feu Cécile (née Blais) Lachance. Époux bien-aimé de May Lachance (née Legacé) de Sudbury. Il laisse également dans le deuil, ses enfants, Paul Lachance de Sudbury, Luc Lachance de Timmins et Robert Lachance (Nicole) de Borden. Prédécédé par son fils Jean- François. Cher frère de René Lachance (Gaëtanne), Sylvio Lachance (Claire), Marcel Lachance (Bev) et Mariette Brunette (Robert) tous de Sudbury. M. Lachance était mécanicien monteur, à la retraite, ayant travaillé pour la compagnie Inco pendant 35 ans. Raymond était très impliqué dans sa communauté. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Columb, conseil 4435, St-David, Noëlville ainsi que membre du Club Retraité de Rivière des Français”. La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAITE, 222, boulevard Lasalle E. (angle Notre-Dame), dimanche de 14 h à 17 h et 19 h à 21 h 30. La messe funéraire sera célébrée le lundi 20 aot 2007 à 11 h à la paroisse St-David, Noëlville. LACHANCE, Raymond - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Friday, August 17th, 2007 at the age of 70 years. Son of the late Adélard and of the late Cécile (née Blais) Lachance. Beloved husband of May Lachance (née Legacé) of Sudbury. Dear father of Paul Lachance of Sudbury Luc Lachance of Timmins and Robert Lachance (Nicole) of Borden. Predeceased by his son Jean- François. Dear brother of René Lachance (Gaëtanne), Sylvio Lachance (Claire), Marcel Lachance (Bev) and Mariette Brunette (Robert) all of Sudbury. Mr. Lachance was a retired millwright from Inco, having 35 years of services. Raymond, who loved curling, was very involved in his community and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, council 4435, St- David, Noëlville and a member of the “Club Retraité de Rivière des Français”. The family will receive friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, August 20th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St-David's Church, Noëlville. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
