Raymond Joseph Chauvin Sr., 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Lafayette, died at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005.Visitation is from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Church. Religious services will be at 11 a.m. at the church, with interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum.He is survived by one son, Raymond Chauvin Jr. of Texas; one brother Eldon Chauvin and three sisters, Era Bergeron, Allie Duplantis and Rita LeBoeuf.His was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Emile Chauvin and Azema M. Dubois Chauvin; three brothers, Louis Junius Chauvin, Nolan Chauvin and Anthony Chauvin; and two sisters. Yvonne Authement and Viley Domangue.
