OKEECHOBEE - Raymond John Elliott, age 69, of Okeechobee passed away on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011. He was born Nov. 3, 1941. He was a long time resident of Okeechobee and his occupation was roofer/carpenter. He was preceded in death by parents, Franklin and Gladys Elliott; brothers, James and George Elliott; sister, Jeanne Mattson. He is survived by sons, Raymond Elliott (Melissa) of Okeechobee, Michael Elliott of Tampa; daughters, Judi Elliott of Okeechobee and Teresa Elliott of Tampa, Gladys Elliott of Mass., Tina Elliott of Mass, Emily Elliott of Mass; thirteen grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Elliott of Okeechobee, Frank Elliott (Julie) of Tampa and Robert Elliott of Apopka; two sisters, Judy Labelle (Fred)of Mass. and Mary Wilburg (Dave) of Ga. Services will be held 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Jan., 12, 2011, at Bass Funeral Home, friends and family are invited to attend.
