HARRINGTON, Raymond On Monday, March 3, 2008 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry's Bay at the age of 79 with his family by his side. Ray went peacefully after suffering a stroke a few days earlier. Husband of Alta Summers/Peplinskie (predeceased by his first wife Joyce Timmins). Father of Connie Harrington and grandfather of Shannon. Brother-in-law of Rita Harrington/Foran and predeceased by his 9 brothers and 5 sisters. Stepfather of Dorinda Gienow (Everett) of Killaloe, Connie Robinson of Edmonton, Dennis Peplinskie (Susan), Barry Peplinskie (Margo), Bryan Peplinskie (Donna) and Karen Burton (Steve) all of Ottawa. Much loved and respected uncle of many nieces and nephews. Grandpa Ray to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with Ray's wishes there is no visitation. A Mass to celebrate his life will be held at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Killaloe on Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at 11 A.M. A luncheon will follow in the Church hall. Ray will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, his warm smile, his passion for curling, golf, hunting and a mean game of euchre. Anyone wishing to make a donation in his name may give to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or select a charity of their choice. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.
