ANDERSON _ Raymond E. Ray, beloved husband of Betty, passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2007 in his 82nd year. Besides his loving wife, he will be fondly remembered by his son Ken of Baltimore, MD, daughters, Patti (Patrick) of White Rock, BC, Beverley (Alan) of Red Bluff, CA, and granddaughter Rachel. Ray's immense pride for his children and all of their accomplishments is something that will never be forgotten. He is also survived by his two brothers, Fred of Regina, SK, and Gordon of Ladysmith, BC, and one sister Leila (Wally) of Bakersfield, CA. Ray was born in Moose Jaw, SK on August 6, 1925. Ray trained to be a pilot during World War II and he continued to pilot commercially thereafter. He spent his post pilot years largely in Calgary where he worked in the auto industry. It is Ray's spirited sense of humour and his love of animals that will be truly missed. If friends so desire, a memorial donation may be made to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 - 110 Avenue, Calgary, AB T2C 2T7. At Ray's request there will be no Funeral Service, but a Memorial Service celebrating his life is pending. PERSONAL ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL SERVICES 7016 Farrell Road S.E. Telephone: 216-5111.
