Mr. Ray Edward Williams, age 81, of Bonifay, Fla., passed away Dec. 25, 2011, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. He was born Oct. 2, 1930 in Bonifay, Fla., to the late Ernest Sheldon Williams and Leila Eugenia Cook Williams. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by five sisters, Vonnie Herndon, Viola Steverson, Mattie Lou Faircloth, Avie Lee Carlisi and Lola Pearl Elkins; and three brothers, Frank Williams, Albert Williams and Buford Williams.Mr. Williams is survived by one brother, Tom Williams of Garland, Texas; three sisters, Evelyn Whitaker of Panama City, Fla., Lela Mae Taylor of Columbus, Ga., and Annie Thompson of Bonifay, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at First Baptist Church Bonifay with the Rev.
