ARCHER -- Randy Williams, 64, a former electrical engineer for Boeing Co. at Cape Canaveral and member of the Saturn 5 Launch Team in 1967, died Sunday at the home of his daughter Patricia, Ormond Beach. Mr. Williams was born in Jacksonville. He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and master's in business administration from Rollins College, Winter Park. He also worked as an engineer for Florida Power Corp. from 1968 to 1979 and retired as a manager in 2004 from Gainesville Regional Utilities. Mr. Williams was a master car mechanic and repairman. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, skiing, boating, softball, hiking and other outdoor activities. Additional survivors include his wife of 41 years, Eileen; three sons, John, Randy and Glen, a brother, Father Mike Williams; and six grandchildren.
