Ralph F. Gallagher, 78, Sarasota, died July 19, 2005. He was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Stamford, Conn., and came to Sarasota in 1991 from there. He retired in 1979 as an FBI agent. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Fordham University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of the Incarnation. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Marguerite; daughters Maryann of Stamford and Kathleen Jones of Norwalk, Conn.; sons Joseph of Staten Island, John of Stamford, and Charles and Thomas, both of Fairport, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren. Services and burial will be in Stamford. A memorial Mass will be later at the Church of the Incarnation. Packer Funeral Home is in charge.
