Rachel L. Smith WOODRUFF, SC-- Rachel Leopard Smith, 64, of 904 Bellview Road, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009, at the Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Harold Smith and daughter of the late Pierce and Fannie Grubbs Leopard. Mrs. Smith was a retired textile employee with Woodside Mill and was of the Church of God of Prophecy Faith. Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Edwards of Landrum; one sister, Mary Sherbert of Roebuck; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 28, 2009, at 3:00 PM at the Lanford Funeral Home Chapel, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff. Interment will follow in Burnsview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family is at the residence.
