LOWELL - Rachel Carinne (Dery) Richard, 83, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, at a local nursing home, following a long illness. She was the wife of Clement J. Richard, who died on Nov. 19, 1999.She was born in St. Stanislas de Champlain, Canada, on Jan. 20, 1920, a daughter of the late Elzeard and Mary-Anne (Dery) Dery.Mrs. Richard formerly lived in Dracut, where she was a parishioner of Ste. Therese Church.Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane A. and Richard Bolduc of Dracut, and Susan and Charles Brady of Lowell; five sons and daughters-in-law, Paul L. and Diane R. (Fournier) Richard of Sterling, Andre J. and Joanne (Caron) Richard of Lowell, Norman A. and Mary (Maher) Richard of Dracut, Raymond J. and Mary (O'Connell) Richard of Meredith, N.H., and Donald J. and Pearl (Bergeron) Richard of Dracut; two brothers, Richard and Roland Dery of Canada; 14 grandchildren, Steven P., Melissa A., Adam, Danielle and Michael Richard, Jason and Robert Bolduc, Raymond J. Richard Jr., Christine, Eric, Justin and Magen Richard, Ryan and Lauren Brady; three great-grandchildren, Alexander and Kyle Richard, and Martin Desforges; and many nieces and nephews.
