Obituary of Ruth-V. Johnson


JOHNSON Ruth V. Johnson, age 73 of Fairfield, beloved wife of Robert W. Johnson, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Joseph and Verna Elias, she had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. Mrs. Johnson was employed as an infant care technician at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Stamford. Survivors in addition to her husband, include three children, Lisa Chichisola and her husband, Louie of Trumbull, Loretta Harsche and her husband, Bill of Bridgeport and Robert Johnson of Fairfield; a sister-in-law, Trudy Elias; and a nephew, Bill Elias, both of Fairfield. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Elias. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. meeting DIRECTLY in Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private in Saint Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. If desired, contributions in memory of Mrs. Johnson may be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897.
