COWART, RUTH LOUISE, 85Archer, FL - Ruth Louise Cowart, age 85 of Archer, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday April 5th 2014 at her home on the property where she was born to her parents T.B. and Vida Pearl Videon on November 18, 1928 She was preceded in her journey to heaven by her husband Hillary Cowart after 51 years of marriage, parents, two brothers and a great grandchild, and followed closely in her journey by her daughter Hilda "Beth" Shultzaberger. Survived by her children Ruth "Wegi" & Louis Leopold, Marie & Greg Lutzow, Hillary & Ginnie Cowart and Chester & Tammy Cowart. Her sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was a private duty registered nurse, and homemaker, who lovingly cared for her multi-generational family farm, was an avid angler, seamstress, gardener, and crafter. Ruth selflessly devoted her whole life to family, friends, and all of those in need. She was a passionate volunteer in the community and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over fifty years. She will be forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed until we meet again in Heaven. We love you our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Aunt, Sister and Friend. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Celebration United Methodist Church, 9501 SW Archer Road, Gainesville with Pastor Harry Holloman officiating.
