Ruth Edna Walker passed away on August 21, 2002 at Danbury Hospital. Mrs. Walker, formerly of Crestwood, was a retired senior secretary for Dictaphone/Pitney Bowes. She was also and avid bowler and wonderful mother. She was born on Flag Day, June 14th in the Bronx to Austin and Mathilda Schwarzer. On June 28, 1941 in the Bronx, she married William T. Walker who predeceased her on November 22, 1991. She is survived by her daughters, Joan R. Colabatistto and her husband John of Danbury, CT, Carol Marie Orr and her husband, Ken of Wappingers Falls; Mary Ann Cipriano and her husband, of Sal Poughkeepsie and Carol Ann Larkin and her husband Tom of Clinton, TN; her grandchildren Christie, Jennifer, Eric, Danielle, Amy, John, Jonathan, Shane, Jeffrey, Tammy, Mandee and Sal; her great-granddaughter, Samantha; her cats, Goldie and Cleo; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the MCHOUL FUNERAL HOME, INC, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 am at Annunciation Church, 470 Westchester Avenue, Crestwood. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla.
