Obituary of Ruth-Ann Miller

MILLER, RUTH ANN, 65 of Windermere, passed away on December 23, 2005, following a relapse of multiple myeloma. Ruth was born in Lander, WY and grew up in California. After three years in college, her sense of adventure took her to Alaska where she worked for a TV station in Fairbanks and later for the University of Alaska where she met her husband John, who was in the Air Force. After marriage they lived in St. Augustine, FL for one year, Key West for 12 years, then moved to Central Florida where they have resided for the last 20 years. Ruth had a passion for photography, creative writing and the beauty in nature. She was a member of the Bloom and Grow Garden Society and was never more happy than when she could photograph all the members and create the Photo Roster for her club, and bring people closer together. 1n her 50's she developed an interest in rowing and physical activity. With the advent of e- mail she could engage a lot of friends and with her sense of humor she made her way into their hearts. She is survived by her husband, John Miller; sister, Susan Gates; two brothers, Joel and Paul McKinnon. A memorial service will be held at the BALDWIN FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME - WINTER GARDEN CHAPEL on January 6th at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Ruth Ann Miller to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, P.O. Box 550985, Tampa, FL 33655-0985. Please sign and view the family guest book at: www.baldwinfairchild.com .
