A Mass of the Christian Burial for Rose White Smith, 86, of Holly Hill died Saturday June 19, 2010, will Be Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 1 P.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 600 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach. Friends may call 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the church, Interment will Follow in Daytona Memorial Cemetery, Daytona Beach. Rose was born June 18, 1924 in Rome, New York. Rose Graduated From S.S.A. in Rome New York. She married the love of her life Norman W. Smith in 1946. She spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. Rose moved to Holly Hill in 1969. Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by everyone who ever made contact with Rose. She will be missed by every one for her caring and gracious ways. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman W. Smith, father Edward White, mother Nellie White and her sister Margarette Taylor. She is survived by her sister Ruth Plopper, Columbus Indiana, Winona Smith, Holly Hill, son, Kevin Smith, several nieces and nephews and close friends the Wheatens and family.
