Rose Miller (nee Ferrara) of Yonkers died on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at age 97. Born on February 7, 1906 to George and Santa (Campana) Ferrara in Yonkers where she was raised. Mrs. Miller worked as a dress maker for various companies in Yonkers. On November 28, 1963, she married Alfred Miller in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church; he died in 1995. Rose was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church and a member of the Senior Citizen's Group of South Broadway. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her five brothers and sisters: Sam Ferrara, Austin Ferrara, Mary Yackubosky, Carmela Caione and Anna Kontur. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball F.H. on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Peter's Church on Friday, November 21st at 10 AM.
