SMITH, ROSE MARIE Trenton - Rose Marie Smith, 66, passed away on July 10, 2010 at her residence. She was born on July 19, 1943 to Cecil and Ora Porter Barnett in Willard, Ohio. She moved to Gainesville in 1994. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christian Life Fellowship and strong in her Christian faith. She was the matriarch of the family, ruling with an iron fist from her wheelchair. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life. She is survived by her children: sons, Cecil (Courtney) Wilson Smith, Christopher (Sheila) J Smith and Walter (Carol) L. Smith, Jr., and Saundra (Bobbie) Reburn, all of Trenton, FL; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Christian Life Fellowship, 19817 West Newberry Road. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the church with Rev. Terry Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park West, CR 241.
