ROSE M.WILLIAMS, 103Medical Secretary BETHALTO, IL. - Rose M. Williams, 103, passed away at 1:15 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Alton. She was born on November 27, 1909 in Livingston, IL, the daughter of Theodore and Anna (Jacko) Minkanic. She married John B. McKune and later married Robert A. Williams in 1954 in Miami, FL. They both preceded her in death. Rose was a secretary in the medical field. She enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge club and she loved being with her extended family. She is survived by a son, John F. McKune of W. Palm Beach, FL; one grandson, John F. McKune, Jr. of Boulder, CO; two sisters, Adeline Ernst and Violet Yaeger both of Bethalto and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three brothers, John Minkanic, Michael Minkanic and Andrew Minkanic and three sisters, Mary Jervis, Anne Jamboretz and Helen Augstine. A memorial service will be at 1 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Father Tom Liebler officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Bethalto.
