Roberta (Birdie) Alice Miller-Ryan, of Montrose, formerly of Ossining, died after a long illness on February 26, 2003, she was 44. She was born February 25, 1959 to Richard Miller Sr. and Mary Rocha. Robbie graduated from Ossining High School in 1977 and worked for IBM in Somers. She was a lifetime member of the Tarrytown VFW Drum Corps. She was a caring person who was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Douglas Patrick Ryan, daughter Kiara Joy, granddaughter Maiya Joy, mother Mary Rocha, brother Richard Miller Jr. (Helen), sister Kim Marie Nolan (David), grandmother Elvira Rocha and several nieces and nephews. She will be reposing today Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at LEACH & THOMAS INC, 32 State Street, Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 am at St. Ann's Church, burial at Dale Cemetery.
