Robert W. Johnson, 81, Bradenton, died May 20, 2004. He was born April 7, 1923, in Chicago and came to Bradenton four years ago from Charleston, Ill. He retired as a real estate business owner. He was a member of the American Legion in Chicago. He received a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Illinois. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margaret; a daughter, Ann of Bradenton; a son, Carl of Charleston; a brother, Richard of Wilmette; and one grandchild. The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bradenton. The Good Earth Crematory, Bradenton, is in charge.
