<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/>ROBERT O. 'BOB' <br/>CAMPBELL --> ROBERT O. 'BOB' CAMPBELL, 86 Publix Truck Driver LAKELAND - Robert O. Campbell, age 86, of Lakeland, FL, passed away January 17, 2015, at home due to natural causes. He was born January 2, 1929, to Walter and Luella Campbell in Wells, Minnesota. Robert moved to Winter Haven and then Lakeland when he finished four years in the Army during the Korean War. Robert met and married Phyllis Porter in 1959 in Immokalee, FL, where he worked for a fertilizer spreader company. Upon moving to Lakeland he went to work for Publix Super Markets where he worked as a truck driver for 33 years. He attended New Home Baptist Church. Robert was a devoted family man who adored his children and grandchildren. He loved to fish and travel. He spent his retirement years traveling across the United States in his motor home with his wife Phyllis and his beloved dog, Rosie. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis; sons, Steven, Anthony and wife Pamela; daughter, Linda Letchworth and husband William, all of Lakeland; sister, Lois Fussell of Bartow, FL; four grandchildren, Ashley Morales and husband Josh, Spencer Letchworth, Megan Prescott and husband Jacob and Krystin Letchworth and expecting two great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Dr., Lakeland with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm.
