JACKSON, Robert Newton, 81, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Friday, February 21, 2003 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 24, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Chuck Ashley of-ficiating. Burial will follow in Green-wood Cemetery. Mr. Jackson was retired from Hudson Thompson after 30 years, was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy, and was a member of First Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene M. Jackson; his daughter, Martha Joy Jackson and his pa-rents. He is survived by his daught-er, Janie Jackson of Montgomery, AL; one granddaughter, Morgan Flowers of Montgomery, AL and one sister, Mildred Flowers of Cam-den, AL. Serving as pallbearers, Tom Giltin, Delos Bailey, Don Vaughn, Charles Stroud, David Jackson Stroud, Tommy Wheeler. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Montgom-ery or to the First Baptist Church Car-ing Center.
