Robert E. Johnson, 49, died Jan. 9, 2003. He was born April 17, 1953, in York, Maine, and lived most of his life in Sarasota. He was a painter and graduated from Riverview High School. Survivors include his sons Shawn and Mark, both of Sarasota, and Jeffrey, Christopher, Brian and Peter, all of Walls, Miss.; sisters Trudy Davis of Sarasota and Susan White of Fort Myers; and brothers Tom Freeland of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Rick of Tucson, Ariz.
