Obituary of Robert-Dillashaw Lee


LEE, ROBERT DILLASHAW "DILLY", 78, of Mascotte, FL, died suddenly Wednesday, September 17, 2003 in Mascotte, FL. He was born in Vernon, TX and resided for many years in Maryland. Mr. Lee retired as a material damage adjuster from Geico Insurance Co., Washington, DC. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees in the Pacific during World War II; a member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church, coached baseball and football youth groups and served for the last ten years on Mascotte Park and Recreation Board. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy W. Lee of Mascotte; children, Robert E. Lee of Laytonville, MD, Mary Kay Lee Kilton of Leesburg, VA, Clifford J. Lee of Germantown, MD, Terrance P. Lee of Frederick, MD, Lisa Lee Harden of Westminster, MD; stepson, James E. Butler of Laredo, TX; sister, Dorothy L. Wynkoop of Brooksville, FL; 11 grandchildren, one niece and four nephews. A memorial service will be held 11AM Thursday, September 25, 2003 at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 574 Montrose St., Clermont, FL. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of South Lake (Swimming Lessons), P.O. Box 120248, Clermont, FL 34712 or The Salvation Army.
