Rebecca Ann Hewitt Stone, of Winter Park, Florida, "Becky", was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2012, at 35 years of age. She was the sunshine of our family, and touched all whom she met during her to brief stay with us. Becky was born in Terre Haute, In, August 18th, 1976 she moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL with her family at age 6, and attended New Smyrna Beach Schools, graduating in 1994. Becky attended Daytona Beach Community College for 2 years, until entering the US Air Force, proudly serving for 4 years. Upon finishing her commitment to the Military, she then returned to live in Tampa, FL; working, while attending St Leo University, St. Leo, FL, where she proudly received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. During her time in the Military she met, fell in love, and married Michael Stone, the father of her son, Quinn Stone. She was employed as a claims administrator with the Tower Group in Maitland, FL. Becky was an inspiration during her life, to all of us who were fortunate enough to be associated with her, as family, friends, and co-workers. She never met a stranger, and was kind to all. She was dearly loved, and will be sorely missed. Memories of her will be forever. She is survived by her son, Quinn Stone, age 5 years; her former husband, Michael Stone, Riverview, FL; her mother, Judy Hewitt, New Smyrna Beach, FL; father and stepmother, Ron & Regina Hewitt of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother & sister-in-law, Tim & Helena Hewitt of New Smyrna Beach, FL; aunt, Gloria Jean Miller-Humphrey, of Port Orange, FL; aunt, Janet Newton, of Paoli, IN; uncle, Paul Elliott of West Baden, IN; step-brother & step-sister Anthony & Amanda Pitt of New Smyrna Beach, FL; along with many cousins & relatives. Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents; Gladys & Delpha Hewitt of Marshall, Il, and Charles & Mary Sparks, of Paoli, IN. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held for Becky on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 from 4PM to 6PM at the "TAVERN & CHAPEL in the GARDENS", 5123 Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, Florida. Please gather with us to Celebrate her life, and give her 5 year old son Quinn and our family the pleasure of meeting all of you that have sent such kind words and support.
