Dear mother of Gloria Betts of Kingston, Lynne Wheal (Chris) of Kingston and Karen Hedges (Matt) of London, ON. Sister of Anna Hitchins of Amherst Island. Predeceased by her brother Douglas, her sisters Helen Glenn and Lulu Strain. Dearly loved Nana of several grandchildren Ruth will be missed by her grandchildren: Shelly, Daphine, Tracy, Sherry, Nicole, Todd and Lisa. Ruth was Great-Nanny to Megan, Taylor, Logan and Bailey. Friends will be received at the CENTRAL CHAPEL of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy) on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in our Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
