Priscilla E. Cyr June 3, 1919 - October 11, 2007 BALLOUVILLE - Priscilla E. Cyr, 88, &quot69&quot, of Pineville Road entered into eternal peace on Thursday, at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. She was the wife of the late Ludger Cyr, who died on April 1, 1987. They were married on January 2, 1943, in Hartford. Mrs. Cyr was born in Providence, R.I. on June 3, 1919, the daughter of the late Norman and Esther (Schaeffer) Little. As a youth, her family settled in the Bronx, N.Y., where she attended school. Upon her graduation from high school, her family relocated to CT. After her marriage in 1943, she devoted herself to the raising and care of her family. In 1959, her husband was transferred from the Bloomfield Kaman Corp. plant to the Moosup facility. The family then settled in the Pineville section of Killingly. Mrs. Cyr was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan. She enjoyed bingo and loved musicals. She was a registrar of voters. She was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, and was a communicant of St. Anne Church, Ballouville. She leaves a son, Richard L. Cyr and his wife, Sue of Saltsburg, PA; three daughters, Kathryn Hitchew and her husband James of Dayville, Jane Webster and her husband Lawrence Jr. of Vernon, and Mary Jo Cyr of Pineville, CT; two sisters, Kathryn Pelletier of Fort Kent, Maine and Erna Bragdon of Bloomfield, CT; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-children; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Cheryl L. Comtois; and a sister Virginia Caponera. Following cremation, there will be a Graveside Service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, with Fr. Sylva LeCours officiating. There are no calling hours. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 306 Industrial Park Road, Suite 105, Middletown, CT 06457. Gagnon-Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Danielson, is in charge of arrangements.
