Obituary of Phyllis Scott

Scott, Phyllis Marion (nee Martin) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Phyllis Marion Scott, on September 4, 2002, at the Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus, with her family at her side at the age of 76 years. Loving mother of Kathi & Ralph Poupard, Tim & Lynne Scott, Anne & Ben Harrigan. Phyllis will be fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicole, Kristopher, Kaylan, Jodi, Ashley, Elise, Brittany, Callie and her cat "Patches". Dear sister of Irene & husband Herbert Todgham and Robert and his parents James & Gladys Martin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and will be missed by her dear friends. Phyllis was a dedicated secretary at Ruthven and Gosfield North Public Schools, retiring in 1991. She volunteered her services for 40 years with the Cottam Girl Guides and Brownies. Mom will now be able to listen to the sweet sound of the loons, the chatter of the chipmunks and squirrels and will be with her favorite surroundings at her cottage of Skeleton Lake on Muskoka. Family and friends may gather at the Stewart L Kennedy Funeral Home, 128 Talbot St. N. Essex (776-7378) on Saturday, September 7, 2002, from 2:00 PM until time of memorial service at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arthritis Society of Canada or the Girl Guides of Canada. Online condolences will be received at www.funeral-cast.com
