STANTON, Ky. - Phyllis Raye Watters McGee, 82, of North Fork Road passed away Friday (Feb. 24, 2012) at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Hospital in Mount Sterling. Born in Derrick City, Pa., she was a daughter of the late David and Doris Potter Watters. She was the former wife of the late Fred McGee.Phyllis was a 1946 graduate of Olean (N.Y.) High School, and she was a former secretary with the Olean Times Herald and with Both, Branch and Hendrix Insurance Agency in Olean. She was a proud member of Stanton First Presbyterian Church. Surviving relatives are her son, David McGee of Bristol, Tenn.; one sister, Donna Miller of Olean; and two nieces, Michelle (Paul) DeRitter of Olean and Pam (John Kenny) Miller of Angelica, N.Y. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Monday at Hearne Funeral Home Inc., 125 W. College Ave., Stanton. Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Phillip Pogue and the Rev. David Rule will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 28, 2012) at the Stanton First Presbyterian Church, 420 N. Main St., Stanton. Interment will be in Stanton Cemetery with Gene Barker, Charles Faulkner, Bob Rogers and Edsel Pelfrey serving as pallbearers.Memorial contributions may be made to Stanton First Presbyterian Church, 420 N. Main St., Stanton, KY 40380. Arrangements are being handled by Hearne Funeral Home Inc., www.hearnefuneralhome.com
