Phyllis Leotta Oat McGee February 25, 1917 - November 7, 2007 MIDDLETOWN- Phyllis Leotta Oat McGee, 90, of Middletown, CT. died on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Middlesex Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jerome V. McGee. ÊPhyllis was born on February 25, 1917 in Norwich, CT; she was the daughter of Frederick Tufts Oat and Annie Lathrop Peabody Oat. She was a graduate of NFA's class of 1934 ÊPhyllis is survived by her brothers John and James Oat, both of Norwich; her sons Jerome F. and Suzanne McGee of Middletown and Peter and Ruth McGee of Bedford, NH; her daughters Sally Ann and Salvator D'Aquila, Jr. of Ivoryton, CT and Nancy and Michael Bell of Houston, TX.; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service for Phyllis at the First Church of Christ Congregational, 190 Court St. Middletown, on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 4:00 pm. Following the service all are invited to join the family at the Cypress Restaurant in Middletown. Burial will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich, CT. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Middlesex Memorial Hospital Development Fund, Crescent St. Middletown, CT. 06457. The Church and Allen Funeral Home, Norwich, CT. has been entrusted with these arrangements
