Phyllis Elizabeth Mulderig Quinnof Colorado Springs, ColoradoPhyllis Elizabeth Mulderig Quinn, 78, a Colorado Springs resident since 1955, formerly of Binghamton, New York, died peacefully on July 10, 2005. She was born Oct. 29, 1926 in Binghamton, New York, a daughter of the late Ralph and Madeliene Cronin Mulderig. Phyllis was also preceded in death by her husband, Terrance John Quinn, on July 3, 1976. She was the owner/operator of Shamrock Travel Agency in Colorado Springs. She had worked for Sawtells Travel Agency and WNBF Radio in Binghamton. Phyllis was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Phyllis loved to travel, enjoyed music, cooking, gardening, working with young people, and bred St. Bernard's. She had a zest for life and embraced all challenges. She is survived by her children, Terrance John Quinn II, Juneau, Alaska, Loughlon Carson (Leabeth) Quinn, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Diana Quinn and Heather Quinn Nelson, both of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Joshua Loughlon Quinn, Montreal, Quebec, and Crystallea Angela Quinn, Calgary, Alberta.Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with an Irish Wake from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Blunt Mortuary. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Silver Key, through the funeral home office.
