p>Pfc. David J. Bentz III, U.S. Army, died on Wednesday., June 20, 2007, in Baghdad, Iraq, from injuries received in an attack on his vehicle. Born in Vineland, N.J., he had lived in Clayton for the past 18 years. DJ attended St. Catherine of Siena School, Clayton, and also Clayton Elementary and Middle Schools. He was a graduate of Clayton High School, Class of 2004. He is survived by his loving parents, Lena M. Butterworth of Millville, David Bentz Jr., of Buena, and his devoted other mother, Kimberly Atkinson Geonnotti of Clayton. His loving sisters, Gabrielle Bentz of Clayton, and Brianna Butterworth of Millville. Paternal grandmother, Irene Bentz of Malaga; maternal grandmother Edna Butterworth of Vineland; maternal grandfather, Percy Butterworth of Millville, and maternal grandparents, Charles and Dolores Atkinson of Clayton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 29, at noon, in St. Catherine of Siena Church, N. Delsea Drive and North Street Clayton, N.J. Visitation at the church on Friday morning from 9 a.m. to mass time. Interment, Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery Williamstown. Arrangements by BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, Clayton.
