Obituary of Peter-P. Kelly

LAKELAND, Fla. Peter P. Kelly, 61, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, after a long illness. He was a resident of Lakeland the past three years. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence Stroebele Kelly. He was a member of the U.S. Army and retired from Grand Union Co. He was the former husband of Margaret (Pegi) Kelly Waller; father of Heidi Simon (James), Krystal Huffman (Wade) and Peter P. Kelly Jr.; brother of Barbara Mulderry of Albany and the late Joan King and Joseph Kelly; also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, all of Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, thence to St. Teresa of Avila Church, Albany at 10:00 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
