Marian Stewart died in 1981 after a long struggle with multiple sclerosis and, in 1983, Peter married Jane Bucci, a well-known area musician. Throughout his life, Peter was involved with the theatre - as actor, director, designer and writer. Locally, he had worked with Schenectady Civic Players, Schenectady Light Opera, RPI Players in Troy and with the First Unitarian Society of Schenectady. Also, he was involved with several arts organizations as arranger of exhibitions and as a collector. His personal collection of Indian paintings has recently been donated to the Williams College Museum of Art. Survivors include his wife, Jane of Troy, N.Y. and his four children: Adam P.
