FRIESEN, Peter Passed away peacefully on April 9, 2011 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his parents Dietrich and Helena Friesen, brother Dick, sister Margaret, and sister-in-law Ros. Loving and missing him are his wife of 23 years, Herta; his doggy Foxy; children Alixe, Robert (Joni), Michelle, and Tanya; 7 grandchildren; brother Ben (Heather); sister-in-law Helen; and many other friends and extended family. Our dad/husband lived his life guided by his faith. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Evening Prayers will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13th at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Rd, Coquitlam. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 14th at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 17475 - 59th Avenue, Surrey. Burial to take place at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 15th at the Surrey Centre Cemetery, 16671 Old McLellan Rd, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Union Gospel Mission.
