Funeral services will be 12:00 PM EST Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church with the Pastor Rev. Charles Kelley officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus. Ms Davis was born August 4, 1948 in Lee County, AL daughter to the late Albert and Abbie Cochran Davis. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church serving as an Usher, Missionary and sang in the choir. Penelope retired from Bibb Manufacturing Company in Columbus, GA. She leaves to cherish her memories her god daughter, Tamiko Finch Barnes(Walter), Montgomery, AL; brothers, Albert D. Davis(Ola Mae), Smiths, AL, Joseph Davis, Sr. Phenix City, AL, Clinton Davis(Judy), Smiths Station, AL and Royce Davis, Smiths Station, AL; sisters, Bettye L. Blue, Cleveland, OH, Alberta Dukes, Cleveland, OH, Thelma Roberson, Detroit, MI and Patricia Finch(Steve), Smiths Station, AL; grandchild, Jermya T.
