PEGGY SMITH MELBOURNE Peggy J. Smith, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving fami ly on Friday, January 5, 2007. Born to William and Edith Embury in Edgware, England on May 18, 1932, she bravely survived the London Blitz of World War II from 1939 to 1945. She worked at Guiness Brewery and at H.J. Heinz & Company in the accounting department. She married Arden F. Smith in Carthage, New York on January 13, 1962 and became an American citizen on December 5, 1968. She moved with her family to Melbourne, FL in 1972 and made many friend ships over the years. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Arden F. Smith; her children, Tracy (Darrell) Turner of Orlando, and Ian (Britney) of Oregon, Wisconsin, and five grandchil dren, Samantha, Christy, Cooper, Scott and Gable. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Florida Memo rial Funeral Home, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Flor ida. An interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 237 East Marks St., Orlando, FL 32803. The family would like to express their gratitude for all who have graciously provided their prayers, love and support to the family.
