DORCHESTER - Peggy Mae Carter, 76, of Dorchester, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert B. "Ab" Carter, in June, 2013. Peggy is survived by her three children, Sharon Evans and her husband David, of Wentworth, Michael Carter and his wife Erin, of Thornton, and Candy Lizotte, of Epping; four sisters, Pearl Wanet and her husband Pete, of Meriden, Conn., Phyllis Buck, of Acton, Maine, Priscilla Kenney, also of Acton, and Sylvia Downing and her husband Leslie, of Belmont; a brother, Leonard D. Hammel and his wife Jolene, of Rumney; five grandchildren, Sandy, Dana, Karla, Cheyanne, and Aimee; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. .SERVICES: A family graveside service will be held in the spring.
