BENNETT (STEVENSON), Peggy Jane - March 21, 1929 - July 23, 2009 Passed peacefully on July 23rd, 2009 at Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston. Predeceased by husband James, beloved mother of Robert, loving grandmother of Kyle and Lauren. Peggy is survived by sister Helen (Dennis), brother John (Joan), sister Jean and by many nieces and nephews. After a long career with the North York Board of Education she will be missed by both fellow teachers and students. A special thank you to the caring staff at the 1st floor nursing station at Stevenson Memorial. The family will receive friends at the Paul F. Kent Funeral Home, 16 King Street North in Cookstown on Thursday, August 6th from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Donations can be made to the M.S. Society of Canada, Simcoe Chapter or The Canadian Diabetes Association in her honour.
