Peggy Elizabeth Horton GASTON A funeral service for Peggy Elizabeth Horton, 21, of Gaston, will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Gazebo at Woodridge Memorial Park. Pastor Gary Roberson and Pastor James Roberson will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. A public visitation and memorial service will be held at a later date. Miss Horton passed away January 16, 2015. She was the daughter of Robert Donald "R.D." Horton, Jr. and Elizabeth Yvonne Kendrick Horton. Peggy was a caring, loving person who brightened any room she walked into. She will be remembered for her smile and her willingness to help others. She had a daring spirit, and enjoyed trying new things. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents; her daughter, Journey Elizabeth; brother, Daniel Horton; loving aunts, Marie H. Fluitt, Diane H. Blume and Shirley H. Howell. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Robert Donald Horton, Sr. and Martha Lee Horton. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to be made to Woodridge Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072 in memory of Peggy Horton Memorial Fund.
