JOHNSON Peggy A. Johnson, 85, of Fort Wayne, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Parkview Hospital. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., she was the daughter of Arthur and Leona Hurlbut. She was employed for seven years as a beauty instructor at Warner Beauty College retiring in 1976. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Through the years, she enjoyed having pet birds. Survivors include brother, Arthur (Grace) Hurlbut of Tallahassee, Fla., nephew James (Becky) Mitchell of Tallahassee, Fla., niece Carol (Gary) Kratzer of Pennsylvania; great-niece Amy Best and three great, great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents. Service is 1:00pm Monday at First Assembly of God Church, 1400 West Washington Center Road, with calling two hours prior. Pastor Ron Hawkins officiating.
